After attending the High School Of Performing Arts (yes, the "Fame" school) in New York City, I went to Carnegie-Mellon University, where I was lucky enough to be in the student production of "Godspell." "Godspell" was a musical based upon the Gospel according to St. Matthew. The show was first performed in New York at the Cafe La Mama E.T.C., then it moved to the Cherry Lane Theater off-Broadway, and eventually to the Ambassador Theater on Broadway. One of my first auditions in New York City was for the role of "Maria" on Sesame Street. (Who says show business is so difficult?) Anyway, Sesame Street has turned into an over-thirty-year-old job. I've recently gotten back on the New York stage in Eve Ensler's "The Vagina Monologues" in 2002 and was pleased to perform in the Drama Desk winning play "The Exonerated" in 2003.
